1. Who we are

Quintet (playquintet.com and the Quintet app) is run by Bart van de Loo, a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number [KvK number]. Address: [business address], the Netherlands. Email: playquintet@gmail.com.

2. The game

Quintet offers five daily puzzle games and extras. You can play the daily games for free, with or without an account. We work hard to keep Quintet available and correct, but we can't promise it will never be down or never contain a mistake. We may change, add or remove games and features.

3. Your account

Use a valid email address and keep your password to yourself. An account is personal. You must be 16 or older to create one, or have permission from a parent or guardian. You can delete your account at any time in your profile.

4. Premium

• What you get: a daily bonus game, your own leagues, colour themes and orb styles, your own adaptive daily set ("Your path"), the full archive, all level paths, unlimited practice, 2 streak freezes a month, 10 sparks a day and your level per category. Players you invite to a league can join for free.
• Price: €2 per month or €15 per year. Prices include VAT, if applicable.
• Free trial: new members get 7 days free, once per account. Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
• Renewal: Premium renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
• Cancelling: anytime, in your profile under Subscription → Cancel subscription. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for; you won't be charged again. Apart from the withdrawal right below, we don't refund the rest of a period.
• Payment: via Stripe (for example iDEAL, card, Apple Pay or Google Pay). If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days; if it keeps failing, Premium stops.
• Price changes: we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price applies.

5. Your right of withdrawal (Premium)

You may withdraw from your Premium subscription within 14 days of the day it started, without giving a reason. Use the button Withdraw from contract here in your profile or at the bottom of the game, or email us. Premium stops right away and we refund everything you paid for the subscription within 14 days, using the same payment method. You'll get a confirmation by email.

If you prefer, you can also use this model text by email: "I hereby withdraw from my contract for Quintet Premium. Started on: [date]. Name: [name]. Email address of my account: [email]. Date: [date]."

6. Sparks

Sparks are in-game credits for hints. Spark packs are digital content that you receive right away. When you buy them, you ask us to deliver them immediately and you confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal. Sparks have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are lost if you delete your account.

7. Fair play

Don't cheat with bots or scripts, don't try to break or overload the service, and keep names and feedback decent. If you do, we may block your account.

8. Liability

Quintet is a game, provided as it is. We're not liable for indirect damage. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. None of this limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Questions and complaints

Email playquintet@gmail.com. We reply within 14 days.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For important changes we'll tell account holders at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the consumer law of your own country.

2. Het spel

Quintet biedt vijf dagelijkse puzzelspellen en extra's. De dagelijkse spellen speel je gratis, met of zonder account. We doen ons best om Quintet beschikbaar en foutloos te houden, maar kunnen niet beloven dat het nooit even uit de lucht is of nooit een fout bevat. We kunnen spellen en functies aanpassen, toevoegen of weghalen.

3. Je account

Gebruik een geldig e-mailadres en houd je wachtwoord voor jezelf. Een account is persoonlijk. Je moet 16 jaar of ouder zijn, of toestemming hebben van een ouder of voogd. Je kunt je account altijd verwijderen in je profiel.

4. Premium

• Wat je krijgt: een dagelijks bonusspel, je eigen competities, kleurthema's en orb-stijlen, je eigen dagelijkse set op jouw niveau ("Jouw pad"), het volledige archief, alle levelpaden, onbeperkt oefenen, 2 reeksbeschermers per maand, 10 vonken per dag en je level per categorie. Wie je uitnodigt voor een competitie, doet gratis mee.
• Prijs: €2 per maand of €15 per jaar. Prijzen zijn inclusief btw, als die van toepassing is.
• Gratis proefperiode: nieuwe leden krijgen 7 dagen gratis, één keer per account. Zeg je op voordat de proefperiode eindigt, dan betaal je niets.
• Verlenging: Premium wordt aan het eind van elke maand of elk jaar automatisch verlengd, tot je opzegt.
• Opzeggen: altijd, in je profiel onder Abonnement → Abonnement opzeggen. Je houdt Premium tot het eind van de betaalde periode en betaalt daarna niets meer. Buiten het herroepingsrecht hieronder betalen we het restant van een periode niet terug.
• Betalen: via Stripe (bijvoorbeeld iDEAL, creditcard, Apple Pay of Google Pay). Mislukt een betaling, dan probeert Stripe het een paar dagen opnieuw; lukt het niet, dan stopt Premium.
• Prijswijzigingen: die melden we minstens 30 dagen van tevoren. Je kunt opzeggen voordat de nieuwe prijs ingaat.

5. Je herroepingsrecht (Premium)

Je mag je Premium-abonnement binnen 14 dagen na de startdatum herroepen, zonder reden. Gebruik de knop Herroep hier je overeenkomst in je profiel of onderaan het spel, of mail ons. Premium stopt direct en we betalen alles wat je voor het abonnement hebt betaald binnen 14 dagen terug, via dezelfde betaalmethode. Je krijgt een bevestiging per e-mail.

Je kunt ook deze modeltekst mailen: "Hierbij herroep ik mijn overeenkomst voor Quintet Premium. Gestart op: [datum]. Naam: [naam]. E-mailadres van mijn account: [e-mail]. Datum: [datum]."

6. Vonken

Vonken zijn tegoed in het spel voor hints. Vonkenpakketten zijn digitale inhoud die je direct ontvangt. Bij aankoop vraag je ons ze meteen te leveren en bevestig je dat je daardoor je herroepingsrecht verliest. Vonken hebben geen geldwaarde, zijn niet over te dragen of in te wisselen, en vervallen als je je account verwijdert.

7. Eerlijk spel

Speel niet vals met bots of scripts, probeer de dienst niet te kraken of te overbelasten, en houd namen en feedback netjes. Doe je dat wel, dan kunnen we je account blokkeren.

8. Aansprakelijkheid

Quintet is een spel en wordt geleverd zoals het is. We zijn niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade. Onze totale aansprakelijkheid is beperkt tot wat je ons in de afgelopen 12 maanden hebt betaald. Dit beperkt je dwingende rechten als consument niet.

9. Vragen en klachten

Mail naar playquintet@gmail.com. We reageren binnen 14 dagen.

10. Wijzigingen

We kunnen deze voorwaarden aanpassen. Belangrijke wijzigingen melden we accounthouders minstens 30 dagen van tevoren. Ben je het er niet mee eens, dan kun je opzeggen voordat de wijziging ingaat.

11. Toepasselijk recht

Nederlands recht is van toepassing. Woon je in een ander EU-land, dan houd je de bescherming van het consumentenrecht van je eigen land.
